Pandora is the streaming music app you’ve probably heard of, but you might not have heard of Pandora Radio. With Mixcloud, you can listen to unlimited music, discover new music, and connect with other music lovers. You can search by genre, artist, or even by mood to get a custom mix.

SoundCloud is a music streaming service created by German audio streaming company SoundCloud Limited, which Google bought in 2010. SoundCloud allows users to upload, record, promote, and share audio content, including music, podcasts, and voice recordings, with the service’s users and the public. Users can follow other users, or they can follow specific audio streams. Users can also subscribe to audio streams other users create, similar to subscribing to a podcast on iTunes. SoundCloud’s slogan is “Broadcast Yourself,” and the slogan was intentionally chosen because it highlights how users can interact with other users through sharing.
StreamSquid
StreamSquid is a streaming media server that keeps you in the know about all your online media sources. Watch ads on your favorite show, avoid audio ads on streaming radio, and turn off the ads on podcasts and streams. StreamSquid streams media across your local network, from your computer, laptop, or mobile devices.
LiveXLive
LiveXLive is a new streaming service that aims to provide “a new kind of user experience that mirrors real life.” Instead of having to haphazardly surf the Internet to find the content you want, LiveXLive’s app will continuously stream content to you based on your location, your preferences, and the time of day.
Spotify
Spotify has been described as “the easiest way to discover, play, and share music.” But what exactly does that mean? Spotify is a streaming service, like Netflix or Hulu, where you have access to millions of songs. And unlike traditional radio, you can listen to the music of your choice whenever you want without paying for songs you don’t listen to. Additionally, you can add songs to your Spotify playlist from your computer, phone, or tablet, and when you’re offline, the songs will automatically download for offline listening.
YouTube Music
YouTube Music is a music-streaming service that gives you the freedom to create your playlists and listen to millions of songs across YouTube.
Streaming music services like Spotify and Apple Music offer access to millions of songs for free, but if you just want a few good songs or don’t want to commit to a monthly cost, there are plenty of free music sites available on the Internet.
